Renan Ozturk has no formal training as an artist. He took a few drawing classes as kid, but that’s it. In between sessions climbing the rock walls of the Utah desert he discovered a hidden talent. Taking in the beautiful landscapes around him through the sport of mountaineering Renan found that he could draw and paint the images in his mind as sweeping portraits on canvas in vivid colors and exquisite detail. To see his paintings is to be transported to distant places and scale great heights in the passionate pursuit of dreams.
